CBRE Global Investors Welcomes Mary Lang to Focus on Logistics

NEW YORK – March 30, 2021 – CBRE Global Investors today announces that Mary Lang has joined the firm as a portfolio manager to focus exclusively on the firm’s U.S. logistics investment strategies, bringing more than 20 years of real estate experience. Ms. Lang will be based out of the firm’s New York City office.

Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, she was a Senior Vice President for Strategic Real Estate Initiatives at Prologis Inc., where she led the global data center business. In her former role she launched a global data center conversion strategy, formed a development JV to expedite conversion of logistics assets and developed relationships with hyperscale cloud providers for build-to-suit greenfield campus locations. Ms. Lang also led the Americas disposition platform, having completed over $6.75 billion of industrial, retail, office, development and land sales in over 375 individual transactions, and served part-time on the Global Investment Committee. Prior to Prologis, Ms. Lang was with Sun Microsystems, where she provided strategic planning and cash management for a real estate portfolio consisting of 4.5 million square feet across 64 locations.

Ms. Lang earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Economics and Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
