CBRE Global Investors Appoints Scott Spalding as Head of High Net Worth Private Markets for the Americas

​LOS ANGELES – February 21, 2018 – CBRE Global Investors, a global real asset investment management firm, has appointed Scott Spalding as Senior Managing Director and Head of High Net Worth Private Markets for the Americas. Based in Los Angeles, Spalding will be responsible for business development with financial intermediaries and investment advisors who help HNW investors achieve their investment objectives.
Spalding brings with him over 17 years of experience and has extensive capabilities in debt and real estate-related investments, fundraising, strategic relationship management and building businesses. Spalding began his investment career at PIMCO, where he most recently served as an Executive Vice President who was responsible for initiating, expanding, and leading the firm’s private markets fundraising efforts with wirehouses and global private banks. He also led the relationship management effort for a number of the firm’s key intermediary relationships along with leading a team dedicated to serving the investment needs of trust companies.
Spalding received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California. He is a CFA Charterholder.
