CBRE Global Investors Appoints Dave Morrison as President of U.S. Managed Accounts Group

LOS ANGELES – April 27, 2016 – CBRE Global Investors today announced that Dave Morrison has been named President of the U.S. Managed Accounts Group, the firm’s $9.8 billion program that provides investment management services to many of the firm’s largest investor clients through tailored separate accounts and open-end fund vehicles.
Mr. Morrison will be transitioning his current corporate strategy responsibilities to Danny Queenan, Chief Operating Officer of CBRE Global Investors. This change represents a more focused deployment of one of the firm’s most experienced investors into a full-time investment implementation role. Mr. Morrison will also continue to serve as Head of Strategy and Research for the Americas.
Mr. Morrison joined CBRE Global Investors in 2011 as Global Head of Strategy. In this role, he has overseen the firm’s investment strategy and corporate strategy functions.  Mr. Morrison serves as a member of the Global Executive Committee, Global Investment Committee and the Investment Committee for the Americas.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Mr. Morrison served as Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Prime Property Fund and Global Head of Real Estate Strategy for Morgan Stanley Real Estate. In that capacity he was responsible for all activities of a $10 billion U.S. property fund and management of global strategy and research with experience in the U.S., Europe and Asia. With more than 25 years’ experience in the industry, Mr. Morrison also previously served as a portfolio manager in the real estate investing division of TIAA-CREF.
