CBRE Global Investors Announces New Responcibilities and Promotions for Strategy and Research Team

​AMSTERDAM, 31 March 2014 – CBRE Global Investors announces responsibility changes and promotions for three people in the EMEA Strategy & Research team.

Sabina Kalyan has been named Head of Research for Europe as well as continuing her role as Global Chief Economist. She will now oversee the European Research team and lead the firm’s economic, investment and property market analyses. She will also become a member of the EMEA Management Board, EMEA Investment Committee and work closely with EMEA CIO Will Rowson.

Maarten Jennen, PhD, has been promoted to Director of Investment Solutions.  His main responsibility will be to focus on European investment strategies, and his role will also have an impact on the company’s global vision. He will manage performance benchmarking and attribution analysis globally.

Marcel Theebe, PhD, has been promoted to a global position as the Director of Research Analytics. Marcel has built and overseen a programme for quantitative analysis for the European business and will now be responsible for all of the data analysis and modeling for various forecasts globally.

Sabina is based in London. Maarten and Marcel work in the EMEA head office at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam.
