CBRE Global Investors announces appointment of Ritson Ferguson as Global Chief Investment Officer

​LOS ANGELES – August 11, 2015 – Today CBRE Global Investors has announced that Ritson Ferguson will assume the role of Global Chief Investment Officer (CIO). In this newly created role, Mr. Ferguson will have broad responsibilities for coordinating the investment decision-making and program offerings of CBRE Global Investors across the range of listed and unlisted real estate markets. Mr. Ferguson will also continue in his role as CEO and Co-CIO of CBRE Clarion Securities and will continue to report to Matt Khourie, CEO of CBRE Global Investors.
Mr. Khourie said, "I am excited to have Ritson step up to expanded responsibilities within our organization given his global perspective and his long tenure as a highly successful real estate investor. He will have a broad charter to ensure we have the best talent and appropriate structure to continue delivering leading performance and innovative investment opportunities to our clients."
Mr. Ferguson has nearly 30 years of real estate investment experience, including extensive experience investing in global real estate, having led the CBRE Clarion Securities team since joining the organization in 1991. Mr. Ferguson has served on the Global Executive Committee and Global Investment Committee of CBRE Global Investors since 2011.
