Emma Huepfl is the Managing Director EMEA of Credit Strategies, the CBRE Global Investors debt business in Europe. She has responsibility for the strategy, operational management and growth of capital / AUM within this business. She is also involved in strategic management of the overall Fund portfolio.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Emma spent 11 years at Laxfield Capital where she was a co-founder and co-principal of the business and member of the Board. In her role she was responsible for business management, capital raising, oversight compliance, risk control and strategy. In addition she was involved in more than GBP 3.5 billion of transactions and together with other Board Members established a Debt Advisory Business which has been retained to advise on more than GBP 2 billion of transactions. At the end of 2019 Laxfield Capital was acquired by CBRE Group and was merged with the Investment management business, CBRE Global Investors, in Europe.
Earlier in her career, Emma co-founded Halkyn Capital, where she was a Director responsible for the origination and execution of the secured loan book, where lending activities spanned eight European jurisdictions and the US.
Mrs. Huepfl started her career with Savills Finance Ltd in 1993, where she assisted with all aspects of loan underwriting and management. Later she moved to GE Capital as a Senior Director within the structured Finance Team underwriting and syndicating transactions in UK and wider Europe
Mrs. Huepfl earned a Bachelors' degree (Honors) in English from the Jesus College Oxford and is serving Chair of the Board of Directors of CREFC, the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council of Europe. She also serves on the Senior Advisory Committee of the Oxford Real Estate Society, the Government Commercial Property Forum and the Property Industry Alliance

Alexandra Lanni is the Head of Investments EMEA of the Credit Strategies business, the CBRE Global Investors debt business in Europe. In this capacity she oversees the investment policy, transactions and strategy for the investments team, as well as capital deployment, and investor relations. She is also involved in strategic management of the Fund portfolio and managing the fund teams.
Miss. Lanni joined CBRE Global Investors at the end of 2019 when Laxfield Capital was acquired by CBRE Group and was merged with the Investment Management business, CBRE Global Investors, in Europe.
At Laxfield Capital she was Director and Member of the Board with oversight of all transaction activity, successfully executing over GBP 3.5 billion of transactions and the underwriting standards within the business. During her time at Laxfield Asset Management she also established - together with other Board Members, the debt advisory business in 2015 which has been retained to advise on more than GBP 2 billion of transactions.
Earlier in her career, Miss. Lanni work from 2008 until 2011 with Lloyds Bank Real Estate Division as part of the restructuring team, where she was in the lead for loan sales and strategic projects. A special project she was involved in was the integration of systems and processes in the CRE division following Lloyds acquisition of Halifax Bank of Scotland.
Miss. Lanni started her career with PWC in their Audit & Advisory Group, with the responsibility for institutional clients.
Miss. Lanni earned a MA in Economics from the Glasgow University and is qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Chris McMain is Fund Manager of the Credit Strategies business in EMEA, the CBRE Global Investors debt business in Europe. In his role he oversees the management as well as the fund strategy and performance of the Laxfield LLp fund.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Mr. McMain spent 6 years with Laxfield Capital as Head of Investments and Fund Manager for Laxfield LLp, responsible for all aspects of client interaction, origination and execution of loans.
In his role as Fund Manager he was also responsible for overseeing the portfolio and loan asset performance within Laxfield LLP. At the end of 2019 Laxfield Capital was acquired by CBRE Group and was merged with the Investment management business, CBRE Global Investors, in Europe
Earlier in his career, Mr. McMain worked at Royal Bank of Scotland, as Associate Director in the Real Estate Structured Finance team. Here he was involved in the origination and execution of commercial real estate lending, including mezzanine and speculative development structures.
Mr. McMain earned a BSc in Business Economics from the Nottingham Trent University.

Adam Slater is Chairman of the Credit Strategies business in EMEA, the CBRE Global Investors debt business in Europe. In his role he helps generate business for the group and is a consultant to the leadership team.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Adam spent 11 years at Laxfield Capital, which he was a co-founder and co-principal of the business, Managing Director and Chair of the Board. In this role he had oversight of the investment performance, capital raising and the day-to-day business activities.
In addition he was involved in more than GBP 3.5 billion of transactions and together with other Board Members established a Debt Advisory Business in 2015 which has been retained to advise on more than GBP 2b of transactions. At the end of 2019 Laxfield Capital was acquired by CBRE Group and was merged with the Investment management business, CBRE Global Investors, in Europe.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Slater co-founded Halkyn Capital Ltd where he was Managing Director responsible for the origination and execution of the secured loan book, and had a leading role in the strategic growth of the business.
Mr. Slater started his career with Savills Finance ltd in 1993, where he was Director, responsible leading business origination and oversight of loan management, after which he moved to GE Capital as a Senior Director within the structured Finance Team underwriting and syndicating transactions in UK and wider Europe.
Mr. Slater earned a BSc in Geology from the Durham University and is a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered surveyors.
Through funds and separate accounts, our U.S. credit platform seeks to originate and acquires whole loans, b-notes, mezzanine and preferred equity instruments secured by institutional quality, cash-flowing assets in Top 35 MSAs, providing attractive cash yields and tax-efficient returns.
We have a dedicated team of experienced originations and asset management professionals. This expertise is combined with a research-based investment strategy and conservative underwriting standards.
As part of the CBRE Group, we also intend to leverage the CBRE Debt and Structured Finance mortgage brokerage and Property Sales platforms and its market intelligence to support the sourcing and screening of opportunities.

Todd Sammann joined CBRE Global Investors in 2018 as Head of Credit Strategies. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of existing and future Credit Strategies funds, including product design, capital formation, investment, dispositions and financing strategy. He also serves as Portfolio Manager for CBRE U.S. Credit Partners. Mr. Sammann is a member of the Americas Investment Committee.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Mr. Sammann was founder and Managing Principal of Narrative Capital from 2015-2018, managing a commercial real estate debt fund on behalf of institutional investors. Mr. Sammann chaired the firm’s investment committee and had overall responsibility for investment activity and portfolio management. Prior to forming Narrative, Mr. Sammann was Principal and Head of Credit Strategies at Colony Capital from 2008-2015, which invested $5 billion across a variety of credit strategies during his tenure. Previously, Mr. Sammann was Managing Director and Head of North American Large Loan Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities at Deutsche Bank from 2002-2008, where he oversaw the origination of more than $50.0 billion of structured real estate financings and served as a member of the firm’s global Group Executive Committee. Previously, Mr. Sammann served as Vice President within Goldman, Sachs & Co.’s real estate investment banking unit from 1996-2002.
Mr. Sammann earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Duke University.

Christian Fuqua is a Managing Director within the Americas Credit Division of CBRE Global Investors and serves as Deputy Portfolio Manager for CBRE U.S. Credit Partners. In this role, he oversees the Americas Credit Division’s operations, including the acquisitions and originations, asset management, financings and dispositions of credit investments.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors in 2018, Mr. Fuqua spent two years as the Chief Operating Officer at Narrative Capital, with oversight of the firm’s operations, including origination and acquisition activities, finance, accounting, human resources, compliance and legal. Mr. Fuqua was also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Narrative in 2016, Mr. Fuqua was a Senior Vice President at Colony Capital, where he spent eight years focused on underwriting, negotiating and executing performing and non-performing debt and equity investments, including first mortgages, mezzanine loans, preferred equity and equity investments across all major asset classes. Prior to joining Colony in 2008, Mr. Fuqua spent three years at Bear Stearns focused on mergers and acquisitions across the technology, media, telecom and real estate sectors.

Charles Kim is a Managing Director within Credit Strategies at CBRE Global Investors, with responsibility for origination and execution of debt investments.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Mr. Kim was a Managing Director at Narrative Capital Management, where he sourced, structured and closed bridge mortgage, mezzanine and preferred equity investments across all major asset classes nationally. Prior to Narrative, Mr. Kim served as Managing Director at Realty Mogul where he sourced bridge, mezzanine debt and preferred equity investments.
Previously, Mr. Kim spent five years at Colony Capital, most recently as Vice President of Colony Mortgage Capital, where he sourced, structured, closed and managed transitional mortgage loans, mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments secured by all major types of commercial real estate assets. Previously, Mr. Kim spent five years as Vice President at a commercial bank where he underwrote and originated senior loans and syndicated/participation credits across real estate and other industries.
Mr. Kim earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at San Diego. Mr. Kim also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) designation and is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council.
