Chuck Leitner joined CBRE Global Investors in November 2019 as Global Chief Executive Officer. In this role, he is responsible for the overall management and long-term strategy of the firm, which manages more than $100 billion on behalf of its clients and has operations and assets in the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific. Mr. Leitner also serves as the chair of the firm’s Executive Committee and as a member of the Global Investment Committee.
With more than 35 years’ experience in the industry, Mr. Leitner has global experience in alternative asset management including real estate, infrastructure and private equity. Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Mr. Leitner served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Berkshire Residential Investments, an investment management and operating company specializing in U.S. residential property. Part of his responsibilities included serving on a range of real estate operating company boards including LCB Senior Living, Clearwater Senior Living and Leggat McCall Partners. Prior to Berkshire, he served as Global CEO of RREEF/Deutsche Asset Management, a global alternative asset management enterprise with $80 billion of assets under management.
Mr. Leitner is a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, where he formerly served as Chairman of the Greenprint Center for Building Performance, demonstrating his commitment to ESG initiatives. He also is a Past Board member and Treasurer of PREA and served on the boards of DEXUS, a listed office and industrial property trust in Australia; Deutsche Bank Real Estate Investment GmbH in Germany; and Strategic Value Partners, a U.S.-based global hedge fund.
Mr. Leitner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies the University of Pennsylvania, where he currently serves as a Trustee and member of the Board and Executive Committee of Penn Medicine.
Mr. Leitner received the 2019 Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award honoring the 2019 Top CEOs for exemplifying exceptional vision, trust and communication.
Andrew Glanzman is the Global Chief Operating Officer for CBRE Global Investors. In this role, he assists and supports the Global Chief Executive Officer in the overall management of CBRE Global Investors and works closely with the regional and business unit COOs to oversee the day-to-day operations. Mr. Glanzman is also a member of the Executive Committee and Global Investment Committee.
Mr. Glanzman joined CBRE Global Investors in 2010 and initially served as a Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer for CBRE Capital Partners, where he was involved in all aspects of the business and oversaw the asset management and realization of investments totaling approximately $770 million. He subsequently served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Americas, where he had overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Americas business.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Mr. Glanzman was an attorney in the Private Investment Fund group at the law firm Mayer Brown LLP, where he focused his practice on private investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other corporate and securities transactions.
Mr. Glanzman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University and a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School.
Pasha Zargarof is Global General Counsel for CBRE Global Investors. In this role, he is charged with overseeing the firm’s global legal department, which provides legal and transactional support to the firm’s worldwide operations. Mr. Zargarof serves on the firm’s Global Investment Committee and Executive Committee.
Prior to joining CBRE Group in October 2004, Mr. Zargarof was a corporate attorney at the law firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and securities transactions representing various private equity funds, multi-national corporations and financial institutions.
Mr. Zargarof earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach. He holds an LL.M. from New York University School of Law and a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law.
Jeremy Plummer is Global CIO of CBRE Global Investors. In this role, Mr. Plummer chairs the Global Investment Committee and works closely with the regional and business unit CIOs to coordinate investment decision-making and our program offerings. He oversees the Global Research and Global Performance and Portfolio Analytics teams and works with clients to advise on global strategies. He is also a member of the Executive Committee.
Mr. Plummer began his real estate career in 1988 and has served in an international capacity in all roles. He joined CBRE Global Investors in June 2006 when CBRE Global Investors acquired Oxford Property Consultants (OPC), which he co-founded. Under his leadership the division, renamed CBRE Global Investment Partners, became a leading provider of global indirect investment solutions. He was appointed CEO of the CBRE Global Investors EMEA business in 2016 and Global CIO in 2018.
Previously, he held the role of European Managing Director at Security Capital Group Inc., a U.S. private equity real estate group. Mr. Plummer also served as Head of Real Estate for SPP (now Alecta), the largest pension and life assurance company in Sweden. In this role, he was responsible for a $3 billion direct and indirect property portfolio in Europe, the U.S. and Asia.
Mr. Plummer earned a Master’s degree in Agricultural and Forest Science from Oxford University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Michael McMenomy is Executive Managing Director of Investor Services for CBRE Global Investors. He previously served as Global Head of Investor Services from 2005 through 2019. Mr. McMenomy is involved in the development of investment programs and investor relations as well as serving as a resource for clients. During his tenure Mr. McMenomy led the global capital-raise effort on behalf of CBRE Global Investors yielding more than $100 billion in equity commitments. He is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, Global Investment Committee and Americas Investment Committee.
Mr. McMenomy began his career in 1979. Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Mr. McMenomy served as Senior Managing Director and founder of the CBRE Investment Properties Institutional Group, CBRE’s higher value equity sales. In his leadership role, Mr. McMenomy led a nationwide team of investment professionals dedicated to providing integrated service delivery to that division's largest, multi-market institutional clients.
Mr. McMenomy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles and is the past Chairman of Urban Land Institute’s Office Development Council.
Bernie McNamara is Global Head of Investor Services and Solutions for CBRE Global Investors. Mr. McNamara joined the firm in 2018 and is responsible for client engagement activities globally, including the development of customized portfolio solutions within and across real estate and other real asset categories. As part of his portfolio solutions role, Mr. McNamara works in partnership with the firm’s Investor Services, Research and Investment personnel to help deliver on investors’ objectives. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and Global Investment Committee.
Mr. McNamara, who began his career in the investment management industry in 1996, joined the firm from J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he most recently served as Global Head of Alternatives Investment Strategy and Solutions. In that role he focused on designing and implementing multi-asset portfolio solutions across alternative investments, including global real estate, infrastructure, private equity and other sectors, for institutional and retail investors globally.
Mr. McNamara earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and a Master's in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Ian Zieger is Global Chief Financial Officer of CBRE Global Investors. Mr. Zieger is responsible for the corporate finance and accounting function for the global enterprise and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors in 2011, Mr. Zieger began his career in the real estate industry at CBRE Group, Inc. in 2007, as a member of the corporate finance and accounting group within the Americas reporting segment. Prior to that, Mr. Zieger worked in the audit practice in Deloitte’s Los Angeles office.
Mr. Zieger earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of California – Los Angeles.

Sabina Kalyan is Global Head of Strategy & Research for CBRE Global Investors with full operational responsibility for the firm’s strategy and research team and a specific role in selecting the economic scenarios and macro risk assessments that power the firm’s real estate forecasts.
Previously, Ms. Kalyan served as Head of Research for the firm’s EMEA region and the global quantitative team.
Ms. Kalyan is a member of the European and Global Leadership Teams and the Global Investment Committee.
Ms. Kalyan joined the industry in 2001 and started working for CBRE Global Investors in 2008. Ms. Kalyan was previously Chief Economist at IPD. Prior to IPD, she worked for Capital Economics, where she developed their UK residential and commercial property market analysis and forecasting service.
Ms. Kalyan studied economics at Lincoln College, Oxford University and is a member of the Society of Business Economists, the Society of Property Researchers and the Investment Property Forum. She is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Ritson Ferguson is CEO and Co-CIO of the firm's real estate securities division, CBRE Clarion Securities. He is a member of the CBRE Global Investors Executive Committee and Global Investment Committee and the CBRE Clarion and CBRE Caledon boards.
Between 2015 and 2019, Mr. Ferguson served in global roles for CBRE Global Investors, first as Global CIO and then as Global CEO. During his tenure as Global CEO of the firm, Mr. Ferguson accomplished several key initiatives, including the acquisition of Caledon Capital Management, now CBRE Caledon.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Mr. Ferguson was on the global management committee of ING Real Estate Investment Management. He was also one of the founding principals who formed the predecessor entity to CBRE Clarion Securities. Earlier in his real estate career, Mr. Ferguson worked at K.S. Sweet Associates and Trammell Crow Company. He was also a consultant at Bain & Company and a Captain in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Ferguson began his real estate career in 1986.
Mr. Ferguson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He is active in many real estate organizations (including PREA, EPRA, APREA and NAREIT) and is a CFA charter holder.

Ian Gleeson is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of CBRE Global Investment Partners (CBRE GIP). Based in London, he has overall responsibility for managing the day-to day running of the business as well as the investment process, formulating top down strategies and overseeing client investment plans. He is a member of the Executive Committee and Global Investment Committee of CBRE Global Investors and he chairs the Executive Committee of the CBRE GIP business as well as serving on the CBRE GIP Investment Committee.
Mr. Gleeson has been in the real estate industry for over 25 years and has extensive experience investing in real estate in Europe, North America and Asia, across the full risk spectrum and all execution types. He took up his current role in August 2008 from Morley Fund Management (Aviva Investors) where he was Head of International Property Multi-Manager, with responsibility for global mandates. Prior to that he served as Head of Property at the National Pensions Reserve Fund of Ireland. Before taking up that position, Mr. Gleeson was Director of Property Investment Strategy and Indirect Property at F&C Management Ltd.
Mr. Gleeson holds a Masters in Economics and Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin. He is an active member of several industry organisations and has previously been a member of the INREV (European Association for Unlisted Real Estate Funds) Management Board and chair of the Investor Forum of INREV.
Mr. Gleeson is a Senior Manager under the FCA’s Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR), and holds the SMF3 and the SMF1.
Joseph Smith is President and Co-CIO of CBRE Clarion Securities. He is chair of CBRE Clarion Securities’ Management Committee and co-leader of the U.S. real estate securities team.
Mr. Smith joined CBRE Clarion Securities’ predecessor firm in 1997. Prior to that, he worked in various management and analyst positions in the real estate industry including positions at Alex Brown & Sons, PaineWebber and Radnor Advisors. Mr. Smith began his career in real estate investment management in 1990.
Mr. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
David Rogers founded Caledon in 2006 and is responsible for guiding the firm’s private markets investment strategies. CBRE Caledon is a Private Markets investment specialist headquartered in Toronto, Canada, which provides infrastructure and private equity investment solutions to institutional investors.
Prior to CBRE Caledon, Mr. Rogers was a Senior Vice-President at the OMERS Pension Plan from 2001 to 2006, where he was responsible for building and managing a globally diversified portfolio of private equity funds and co-investments. He was also a Director on the Parent company of the OMERS infrastructure group, Borealis Infrastructure. Mr. Rogers was a founding board member of the Institutional Limited Partner Association (“ILPA”) in 2002 and sat on its Board until 2005.
Prior to OMERS, Mr. Rogers was Vice-President, Investments with Working Ventures Canadian Fund Inc., a Canadian based venture capital fund. Prior to that, he was the VP, Finance and CFO of FirstService Corporation from start up in 1990 to 1995 when it became a TSX and NASDAQ-listed company.
Mr. Rogers is a regular speaker at various North American and European private market conferences in the areas of infrastructure and private equity investing.
Mr. Rogers earned his Honors Bachelor of Arts degree and Masters in Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto. He is also a CPA and CBV (Chartered Business Valuator).
David Makowicz is responsible for global business operations for CBRE Clarion Securities including its four subsidiary organizations. Mr. Makowicz has direct oversight of investment operations, finance, legal & compliance, information technology and human resource teams. In addition, he serves as a member of CBRE Clarion’s executive management team.
Mr. Makowicz joined the firm in 2006. Prior to that, he led business development and operations for a $12 billion U.S. mutual fund trust at SEI Investments. Mr. Makowicz has over 13 years of financial industry experience. Prior to his civilian career, he served as a naval flight officer in the U.S. Navy for 8 years in various operational and managerial roles achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Mr. Makowicz earned a bachelor of science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from Villanova University.
Gill Roantree is the Chief Operating Officer of CBRE Global Investment Partners. Based in London, Ms. Roantree’s role is to coordinate all financial matters within the CBRE GIP group, including financial and investor reporting, the structuring of funds and segregated mandates, currency hedging and fund administration, as well as conducting financial and tax due diligence on potential investments. She is a member of the CBRE GIP Executive Committee.
Ms. Roantree has over 25 years' experience in the funds industry, of which the past 13 years have been focused on real estate. She joins from Mayfair Capital, a UK property fund manager, where she was COO. Prior to that, she was with Schroders as COO of the real estate investment division based in Jersey before returning to London, which included direct real estate funds, fund of funds and real estate securities predominantly domiciled in Luxembourg, the UK and Jersey. Ms. Roantree has a strong background in fund establishment, structuring investment solutions for clients, financial operations, compliance and corporate finance.
Ms. Roantree is a Qualified Accountant and holds a Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance. Ms. Roantree is a Senior Manager under the FCA’s Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR), and holds the SMF3.
Vance Maddocks is CEO and CIO for the Americas. In this role, Mr. Maddocks oversees the overall Americas business and leads the Investment Team with an emphasis on transaction execution and talent development.
Mr. Maddocks is a member of the Executive Committee, Global Investment Committee and serves as Chair of the Americas Investment Committee. He is also a member of the Global Operating Committee for CBRE Group.
Mr. Maddocks is the founder of Strategic Partners U.S. and served as head of the platform from 2000 to 2018. Between 2007 and 2010, Mr. Maddocks also served as Global CEO. During his tenure as Global CEO, Mr. Maddocks enhanced the firm's corporate governance, risk management and investment practices creating greater consistency and discipline in decision-making. He also created the CBRE Global Investors Global Green Initiative, which has led numerous properties worldwide to be certified based on local sustainability standards.
Mr. Maddocks joined CBRE in 1984 and is a three-time recipient of the CBRE Chairman’s Award for Leadership. In 2006, Mr. Maddocks received the company’s highest honor for his distinguished service and deal-making capability, the Edward S. Gordon Award. He was the second recipient of this prestigious award in the history of the company.
Mr. Maddocks earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from California State University, Northridge.
Sophie van Oosterom is CEO and CIO for EMEA. In this capacity, she oversees operations, investment strategy and performance, underwriting and program development in the region. She is a member of the Executive Committee and Global Investment Committee and chairs the European Executive Committee and European Investment Committee.
Ms. van Oosterom joined CBRE Global Investors in 2013 as Head of Special Programs with leadership of investor strategy, repositioning and redefining strategies to optimize value for the investors for the various special program funds.
Ms. van Oosterom began her real estate and finance career in 1996. Before joining CBRE Global Investors she was a managing director and European Head of Asset Management of the Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners private equity funds (now Silverpeak Real Estate Partners) with around $20 billion of assets under management at its peak. In this capacity, she was a member of the boards of several real estate companies throughout Europe, where she helped define strategy, financial structuring and value creation across all real estate asset classes. Before that she worked in investment banking M&A advisory with JP Morgan and Barings.
Ms. van Oosterom earned a Master’s degree in Economics (Cum Laude) from the University of Amsterdam. She is an honorary citizen of Marseille (France).
Adrian Baker is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer for CBRE Global Investors' Asia Pacific region. In this capacity he has responsibility for all investment and asset management activity within CBRE Global Investors across the Asia Pacific region. In addition, he is Fund Manager of the value-add fund series within the region, Asia Value Partners. Mr. Baker is also a member of the Executive Committee and Global Investment Committee.
Mr. Baker began his career in the real estate sector in 1997 investing globally but with a focus on the Asia Pacific region. He has been based in Singapore since 2006. Mr. Baker has an extensive direct real estate background beginning in building engineering and property management, prior to transitioning to becoming an asset and fund manager executing strategies across direct, indirect and listed portfolios for institutional clients. His skills and expertise cover a wide range of real estate sectors including office, retail, industrial as well as more niche property types.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors in 2007, Mr. Baker was at AMP Capital Investors, first in Sydney and then in Singapore, where he was Fund Manager for over $3 billion in global assets and led a team of asset managers.
Mr. Baker earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University of Technology, Sydney.
Doug Herzbrun is Chairman of Global Research for CBRE Global Investors. In this role, Mr. Herzbrun communicates research insights to CBRE Global Investors’ clients and prospects, as well as to the larger real estate community. He is also Head of Research in the Americas region and a key contributor to the firm’s global and U.S. research publications and serves on the Global Investment Committee, Americas Investment Committee and Global Investment Partners Investment Committee.
Prior to becoming Chairman, Mr. Herzbrun was Global Head of Research with responsibility for directing strategic analysis of the economies, capital markets and property markets in North America, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Herzbrun began his career in real estate investment research in 1979. He joined CBRE Global Investors in 1984 after four and one-half years with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Consultation Services.
Mr. Herzbrun is a member of the Education Committee of NCREIF and serves as an instructor in their Professional Certificate Program. A member of NAREIM, he is a frequent presenter at their meetings. He is also a member, and former Co-Chair, of PREA’s Research Affinity Group.
Mr. Herzbrun earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from Harvard University.
John Gilb joined CBRE Global Investors in 1984 and leads the capital markets function for the Americas. In this role, he is responsible for originating, underwriting and structuring fund and project-level financing and managing investments with an emphasis on development-oriented joint venture transactions. He has experience across all phases of the real estate investment cycle, having served in portfolio management, acquisitions, dispositions, debt restructuring, recapitalization and operations roles with CBRE Global Investors.
Mr. Gilb has been directly involved in over $10.0 billion of transactions. In 2011, John assumed the role of Fund Manager for Strategic Partners IV and Strategic Partners Opportunity 5. In this role, he is responsible for establishing fund-level objectives and strategies, benchmarking performance for each fund and directing the Strategic Partners U.S. operations team in the execution of specific property-level action plans. In 2016, Mr. Gilb was appointed Head of Capital Markets for the Americas. In addition to establishing and standardizing best practices in the Americas business, Mr. Gilb has overall responsibility for financings and dispositions. Mr. Gilb also serves as the Risk Chair of the Americas Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Strategic Partners U.S., Mr. Gilb was responsible for the Firm’s relationships with multiple separate account clients, overseeing and providing strategic direction for all investment and management activity including negotiating and structuring core equity investments, participating construction loans and joint venture development agreements.
Mr. Gilb earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with an emphasis in Finance from Loyola Marymount University.

Kimberly Hourihan, who joined CBRE Global Investors in 2007, is a Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for the Americas. Ms. Hourihan is a member of the Americas Investment Committee as well as a member of CBRE Global Investors’ Global Leadership Team.
Ms. Hourihan has over 20 years of real estate investment experience. In her previous role with the Firm, she served as a Managing Director and the Portfolio Manager for two international sovereign wealth fund clients with total assets under management with the Firm of more than $4 billion representing 11.7 million square feet. In this position, Ms. Hourihan was responsible for client relations, portfolio management, asset management, acquisitions and dispositions. Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Ms. Hourihan held a position at Starwood Capital Group, where her responsibilities included the formation of a value-added real estate fund. Previously, Ms. Hourihan was Partner and Regional Director at TA Associates Realty, a Boston-based real estate advisory firm. In that capacity, she was a portfolio manager for a separate account relationship and a closed-end commingled value-added real estate fund. Ms. Hourihan also served as an asset manager with expertise in office, industrial, retail and multifamily assets in major markets throughout the U.S. Prior to that, Ms. Hourihan was Senior Vice President at the Georgetown Holding in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia directing multiple acquisitions ranging from a bank in Geneva to a magazine in Hong Kong. Ms. Hourihan began her career at U.S. Trust Company where she was responsible for lending on real estate.
Ms. Hourihan earned a B.A. in Economics from Boston College and an MBA from Harvard University.
Richard Everett is a Managing Director of CBRE Global Investors having joined the company in July 1996. Since joining the firm, he has developed a successful track record in winning new mandates with combined values in excess of €650 million. All of these mandates have involved significant acquisitions and disposals through restructuring or start-up. Mr. Everett holds a position on the UK Executive board and also on the UK sub-investment committee.
Mr. Everett has over 23 years' experience in the commercial property market, specialising for the last 20 years in Fund Management and Investment Advisory. Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, he worked for eight years within the Fund Management teams of Colliers CRE and Morgan Grenfell Laurie.
Mr. Everett received a BSc (Hons) degree in Urban Estate Surveying from Nottingham Central University in 1987 and qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1991.
Michael Ness is the Head of UK for CBRE Global Investors and the Managing Director of UK Separate Accounts. He leads the team responsible for the investment management of all the discretionary and advisory separate account mandates, held by CBRE Global Investors.
Mr. Ness joined CBRE in October 1997, gaining experience in the Investment Consulting department, with responsibility for investment appraisal and feasibility for pension schemes. He was recruited to join CBRE Global Investors in October 1999. Prior to this, he worked at Edward Symmons & Partners between 1995 and 1997.
Mr. Ness has worked on a number of separate account mandates since joining CBRE Global Investors gaining in excess of 16 years experience managing a wide range of property portfolios. He has built up a first class track record for building and restructuring portfolios. He now leads both the UK business and the Separate Accounts Group, this team being responsible for AUM of circa £8bn.
He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and he is a member of the Investment Property Forum. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management from University of the West of England.
Robert Perry is Head of Strategic Partners U.S. In this role he is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s enhanced return investment activity, including existing and future Strategic Partners funds. Mr. Perry is involved in capital raising, investment and operations decisions, and financing strategy. He is also Portfolio Manager for CBRE Strategic Partners U.S. Value 8 and 9. Mr. Perry joined CBRE Global Investors in 2016, and is a member of the Americas Investment Committee and Global Leadership Team.
Mr. Perry previously served as a Senior Managing Director and the leader of the North American real estate business for CarVal Investors, a global alternative investment fund manager and a subsidiary of Cargill. In that capacity, Mr. Perry was responsible for investment management and implementation for equity and debt investments, capital-raising and investor relations. He served as Chairman of the Investment Committee for North America and as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Mr. Perry also has extensive experience in real estate finance. Mr. Perry’s experience includes acquiring large international real estate debt and equity portfolios across the Americas and Asia, leading several public to private executions, as well as being involved in several initial public offerings in the U.S. and Canada.
Mr. Perry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Investment Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
