Ritson Ferguson is Global Chief Executive Officer of CBRE Global Investors. In this role, he is responsible for the overall global management and long-term strategy of the firm, which manages more than $100 billion on behalf of its clients and has operations and assets in the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific. Mr. Ferguson also serves as CEO of the firm’s real estate securities division, CBRE Clarion Securities, and as a member of the CBRE Global Investors Global Executive Committee and Global Investment Committee and the CBRE Clarion and CBRE Caledon boards.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Mr. Ferguson was on the global management committee of ING Real Estate Investment Management. He was also one of the founding principals who formed the predecessor entity to CBRE Clarion Securities. Earlier in his real estate career, Mr. Ferguson worked at K.S. Sweet Associates and Trammell Crow Company. He was also a consultant at Bain & Company and a Captain in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Ferguson began his real estate career in 1986.
Mr. Ferguson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He is active in many real estate organizations (including PREA, EPRA, APREA and NAREIT) and is a CFA charter holder.
Vance Maddocks is CEO and CIO – Americas. In this role, Mr. Maddocks oversees the overall Americas business and leads the investment teams with an emphasis on transaction execution and talent development. Prior to CEO, Mr. Maddocks served as President of Strategic Partners U.S., CBRE Global Investors’ enhanced return platform in the Americas.
Mr. Maddocks is a member of the Global Executive Committee, Global Investment Committee and serves as Chairman of the Americas Investment Committee. In 2016, Mr. Maddocks was appointed CIO for the Americas. In this role, he is responsible for oversight of the U.S. investment management business. Mr. Maddocks is a member of the Global Operating Committee for the CBRE Group.
In 2007, Mr. Maddocks assumed the role of CEO of CBRE Global Investors in addition to his role as President of Strategic Partners U.S. During his tenure as CEO, Mr. Maddocks enhanced the Firm's global corporate governance, risk management and investment practices creating greater consistency and discipline in decision-making. He also created the CBRE Global Investors Global Green Initiative, which has led numerous properties worldwide to be certified based on local sustainability standards. In 2010 Mr. Maddocks transitioned back from two leadership roles to one, stepping down as CEO to fully focus his attention on U.S. investments.
Mr. Maddocks joined CBRE in 1984 and is a three-time recipient of the CBRE Chairman’s Award for Leadership. In 2006, Mr. Maddocks received the company’s highest honor for his distinguished service and deal making capability, the Edward S. Gordon Award. He was the second recipient of this prestigious award in the history of the company.
Mr. Maddocks earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from California State University, Northridge.
Sophie van Oosterom is CEO and CIO for EMEA. In this capacity, she oversees operations, investment strategy and performance, underwriting and program development in the region. She is a member of the Global Executive Committee and Global Investment Committee and chairs the European Executive Committee and European Investment Committee.
Ms. van Oosterom joined CBRE Global Investors in 2013 as Head of Special Programs with leadership of investor strategy, repositioning and redefining strategies to optimize value for the investors for the various special program funds.
Ms. van Oosterom began her real estate and finance career in 1996. Before joining CBRE Global Investors she was a managing director and European Head of Asset Management of the Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners private equity funds (now Silverpeak Real Estate Partners) with around $20 billion of assets under management at its peak. In this capacity, she was a member of the boards of several real estate companies throughout Europe, where she helped define strategy, financial structuring and value creation across all real estate asset classes. Before that she worked in investment banking M&A advisory with JP Morgan and Barings.
Ms. van Oosterom earned a Master’s degree in Economics (Cum Laude) from the University of Amsterdam. She is a honorary citizen of Marseille (France).
Adrian Baker is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer for CBRE Global Investor’s Asia Pacific region. In this capacity he has responsibility for all investment and asset management activity within CBRE Global Investors across the Asia Pacific region. In addition, he is Fund Manager of the value add fund series within the region, Asia Value Partners. Mr. Baker is also a member of the Global Executive Committee and Global Investment Committee.
Mr. Baker began his career in the real estate sector in 1997 investing globally but with a focus on the Asia Pacific region. He has been based in Singapore since 2006. Mr. Baker has an extensive direct real estate background beginning in building engineering and property management, prior to transitioning to becoming an asset and fund manager executing strategies across direct, indirect and listed portfolios for institutional clients. His skills and expertise cover a wide range of real estate sectors including office, retail, industrial as well as more niche property types.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors in 2007, Mr. Baker was at AMP Capital Investors, first in Sydney and then in Singapore, where he was Fund Manager for over $3 billion in global assets and led a team of asset managers.
Mr. Baker earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University of Technology, Sydney.

Ian Gleeson is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of CBRE Global Investment Partners (CBRE GIP). Based in London, he has overall responsibility for managing the day-to day running of the business as well as the investment process, formulating top down strategies and overseeing client investment plans. He is a member of the Global Executive Committee and Global Investment Committee of CBRE Global Investors and he chairs the Executive Committee of the CBRE GIP business as well as serving on the CBRE GIP Investment Committee.
Mr. Gleeson has been in the real estate industry for over 25 years and has extensive experience investing in real estate in Europe, North America and Asia, across the full risk spectrum and all execution types. He took up his current role in August 2008 from Morley Fund Management (Aviva Investors) where he was Head of International Property Multi-Manager, with responsibility for global mandates. Prior to that he served as Head of Property at the National Pensions Reserve Fund of Ireland. Before taking up that position, Mr. Gleeson was Director of Property Investment Strategy and Indirect Property at F&C Management Ltd.
Mr. Gleeson holds a Masters in Economics and Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin. He is an active member of several industry organisations and has previously been a member of the INREV (European Association for Unlisted Real Estate Funds) Management Board and chair of the Investor Forum of INREV.
Joseph Smith is President and Co-CIO of CBRE Clarion Securities. He is chair of CBRE Clarion Securities’ Management Committee, and a member of the Global Executive Committee and the Global Investment Committee. Mr. Smith is co-leader of the U.S. real estate securities team.
Mr. Smith joined CBRE Clarion Securities’ predecessor firm in 1997. Prior to that, he worked in various management and analyst positions in the real estate industry including positions at Alex Brown & Sons, PaineWebber and Radnor Advisors. Mr. Smith began his career in real estate investment management in 1990.
Mr. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
Andrew Glanzman is the Global Chief Operating Officer for CBRE Global Investors. In this role, he assists and supports the Global Chief Executive Officer in the overall management of CBRE Global Investors and works closely with the regional and business unit COOs to oversee the day-to-day operations. Mr. Glanzman is also a member of the Global Executive Committee and Global Investment Committee.
Mr. Glanzman joined CBRE Global Investors in 2010 and initially served as a Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer for CBRE Capital Partners, where he was involved in all aspects of the business and oversaw the asset management and realization of investments totaling approximately $770 million. He subsequently served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Americas, where he had overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Americas business.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Mr. Glanzman was an attorney in the Private Investment Fund group at the law firm Mayer Brown LLP, where he focused his practice on private investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other corporate and securities transactions.
Mr. Glanzman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University and a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School.
Michael McMenomy is the Global Head of Investor Services for CBRE Global Investors and is responsible for the development of the Firm’s investment programs with overall responsibility for investor relations. Since 2005, Mr. McMenomy has led the global capital raise effort on behalf of the Firm yielding more than $79.8 billion in equity commitments. He is a member of the Global Executive Committee, Global Investment Committee and Americas Investment Committee.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Mr. McMenomy served as Senior Managing Director of the CBRE Investment Properties Institutional Group, CBRE’s higher value equity sales team. In his leadership role, Mr. McMenomy led a nationwide team of investment professionals dedicated to providing integrated service delivery to that division's largest, multi-market institutional clients.
Mr. McMenomy earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles, and is the past Chairman of Urban Land Institute’s Office Development Council.
Bernie McNamara is the Global Co-Head of Investor Services and Solutions. In addition to his Investor Services role, Mr. McNamara is responsible for the development and management of comprehensive customized portfolio solutions that combine different real asset categories for existing and new investors and distribution channels, working in partnership with CBRE Global Investors’ research and investment personnel.
Mr. McNamara, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, joined the firm from J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he was most recently the Global Head of Alternatives Investment Strategy and Solutions. In that role he focused on designing, implementing, and managing multi-asset portfolio solutions across alternative investments including global real estate, infrastructure, private equity and other sectors, for institutional and retail investors globally.
Mr. McNamara earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Jeremy Plummer is Global CIO of CBRE Global Investors. In this role, Mr. Plummer chairs the Global Investment Committee and works closely with the regional and business unit CIOs to coordinate investment decision-making and our program offerings. He oversees the Global Research and Global Performance and Portfolio Analytics teams and works with clients to advise on global strategies. He is also a member of the Global Executive Committee.
Mr. Plummer began his real estate career in 1988 and has served in an international capacity in all roles. He joined CBRE Global Investors in June 2006 when CBRE Global Investors acquired Oxford Property Consultants (OPC), which he co-founded. Under his leadership the division, renamed CBRE Global Investment Partners, became a leading provider of global indirect investment solutions. He was appointed CEO of the CBRE Global Investors EMEA business in 2016 and Global CIO in 2018.
Previously, he held the role of European Managing Director at Security Capital Group Inc., a U.S. private equity real estate group. Mr. Plummer also served as Head of Real Estate for SPP (now Alecta), the largest pension and life assurance company in Sweden. In this role, he was responsible for a $3 billion direct and indirect property portfolio in Europe, the U.S. and Asia.
Mr. Plummer earned a Master’s degree in Agricultural and Forest Science from Oxford University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Kristy Thompson is the Global Head of Human Resources for CBRE’s real estate investment businesses: CBRE Global Investors and Trammell Crow Company. She is responsible for leading the development and execution of the HR strategy – including resourcing, learning and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and operations. She has also been appointed to serve as a member of the CBRE Global Investors Global Leadership Team.
Ms. Thompson is a human resource professional with more than 20 years of human resource leadership experience. She started with CBRE as a Human Resource Manager supporting multiple Global Corporate Services accounts. She was then promoted to Senior Human Resource Manager with responsibility for HR in the Seattle, Portland and Honolulu markets while leading the Pacific Northwest GWS HR team. After a year Ms. Thompson began leading the entire West Division GWS HR team as an HR Director. Prior to joining CBRE, Ms. Thompson served in HR roles in manufacturing and hospitality industries.
Ms. Thompson, who is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality Business Management from Washington State University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Pasha Zargarof is Global General Counsel for CBRE Global Investors. In this role, he is charged with overseeing the firm’s global legal department, which provides legal and transactional support to the firm’s worldwide operations. Mr. Zargarof serves on the firm’s Global Investment Committee and Global Executive Committee.
Prior to joining CBRE Group in October 2004, Mr. Zargarof was a corporate attorney at the law firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and securities transactions representing various private equity funds, multi-national corporations and financial institutions.
Mr. Zargarof earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach. He holds an LL.M. from New York University School of Law and a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law.
Ian Zieger is Global Chief Financial Officer of CBRE Global Investors. Mr. Zieger is responsible for the corporate finance and accounting function for the global enterprise and is a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors in 2011, Mr. Zieger began his career in the real estate industry at CBRE Group, Inc. in 2007, as a member of the corporate finance and accounting group within the Americas reporting segment. Prior to that, Mr. Zieger worked in the audit practice in Deloitte’s Los Angeles office.
Mr. Zieger earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of California – Los Angeles.

Kimberly Hourihan, who joined CBRE Global Investors in 2007, is a Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for the Americas. Ms. Hourihan is a member of the Americas Investment Committee as well as a member of CBRE Global Investors’ Global Leadership Team.
Ms. Hourihan has over 20 years of real estate investment experience. In her previous role with the Firm, she served as a Managing Director and the Portfolio Manager for two international sovereign wealth fund clients with total assets under management with the Firm of more than $4 billion representing 11.7 million square feet. In this position, Ms. Hourihan was responsible for client relations, portfolio management, asset management, acquisitions and dispositions. Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Ms. Hourihan held a position at Starwood Capital Group, where her responsibilities included the formation of a value-added real estate fund. Previously, Ms. Hourihan was Partner and Regional Director at TA Associates Realty, a Boston-based real estate advisory firm. In that capacity, she was a portfolio manager for a separate account relationship and a closed-end commingled value-added real estate fund. Ms. Hourihan also served as an asset manager with expertise in office, industrial, retail and multifamily assets in major markets throughout the U.S. Prior to that, Ms. Hourihan was Senior Vice President at the Georgetown Holding in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia directing multiple acquisitions ranging from a bank in Geneva to a magazine in Hong Kong. Ms. Hourihan began her career at U.S. Trust Company where she was responsible for lending on real estate.
Ms. Hourihan earned a B.A. in Economics from Boston College and an MBA from Harvard University.
Richard Everett is a Managing Director of CBRE Global Investors having joined the company in July 1996. Since joining the firm, he has developed a successful track record in winning new mandates with combined values in excess of €650 million. All of these mandates have involved significant acquisitions and disposals through restructuring or start-up. Mr. Everett holds a position on the UK Executive board and also on the UK sub-investment committee.
Mr. Everett has over 23 years' experience in the commercial property market, specialising for the last 20 years in Fund Management and Investment Advisory. Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, he worked for eight years within the Fund Management teams of Colliers CRE and Morgan Grenfell Laurie.
Mr. Everett received a BSc (Hons) degree in Urban Estate Surveying from Nottingham Central University in 1987 and qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1991.
Achal Gandhi is a Global Portfolio Manager and Head of Global Portfolio Management within CBRE Global Investor Partners. In this role Mr. Gandhi chairs the CBRE GIP Global Portfolio Oversight Committee, which approves the strategy of all CBRE GIP Global Funds and Separate Accounts. Mr. Gandhi also has responsibility for a number of CBRE GIP’s Global Separate Accounts and works closely with CBRE GIP’s Regional Investment teams to ensure portfolios are positioned appropriately and are accessing our leading investment ideas. Mr. Gandhi, who is based in London, is a member of the CBRE GIP Executive Committee and the Global Leadership Team for CBRE Global Investors.
Mr. Gandhi joined CBRE Global Investment Partners in August 2008 and worked initially on European investments. Prior to this Mr. Gandhi was a European Real Estate Analyst within the Equity Research department at Bear Stearns International. During this time, Mr. Gandhi was responsible for analysing and forecasting listed real estate companies and making recommendations to sales teams. Prior to this, Mr. Gandhi was a Manager at Deloitte in the Banking & Securities Department.
Mr. Gandhi is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales (ICAEW). Mr. Gandhi holds a BSc in Economics from the University College of London.
Doug Herzbrun is Co-Head of Research for CBRE Global Investors. He directs strategic analysis of the economies, capital markets and property markets in North America, Europe and Asia. These analyses support the acquisition and portfolio management processes, and the development of new product concepts. He communicates research insights to the Firm’s clients and prospects, and to the real estate community. He serves on CBRE Global Investors' Global Investment Committee, Americas Investment Committee and Global Investment Partners Investment Committee.
Mr. Herzbrun began his career in real estate investment research in 1979. He joined CBRE Global Investors in 1984 after four and one-half years with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Consultation Services.
Mr. Herzbrun is a member of the Education Committee of NCREIF and serves as an instructor in NCREIF’s Academy. He is also Co-Chair of the Research Affinity Group of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), and a member of ULI.

Sabina Kalyan is Global Co-Head of Research for CBRE Global Investors. She also continues to serve as Global Chief Economist, responsible for creating a consistent global macro house view and advising the firm on which macroeconomic scenarios it should use to power its real estate forecasts and underwriting. Additionally, the Global Quantitative Strategy and Research team, who run the firm’s proprietary RARE tool and conduct analysis on optimal portfolio design, report to Ms. Kalyan.
Ms. Kalyan joined the industry in 2001 and started working for CBRE Global Investors in 2008 from IPD where she was Chief Economist. Prior to this she worked for Capital Economics, where she developed their UK residential and commercial property market analysis and forecasting service.
Ms. Kalyan received an M.Phil in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Lincoln College, Oxford University. She is a member of the Society of Business Economists, the Society of Property Researchers and the Investment Property Forum as well as an External Examiner at the University of Reading for the Real Estate Investment Finance programme and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
David Makowicz is responsible for global business operations for CBRE Clarion Securities including its four subsidiary organizations. Mr. Makowicz has direct oversight of investment operations, finance, legal & compliance, information technology and human resource teams. In addition, he serves as a member of CBRE Clarion’s executive management team.
Mr. Makowicz joined the firm in 2006. Prior to that, he led business development and operations for a $12 billion U.S. mutual fund trust at SEI Investments. Mr. Makowicz has over 13 years of financial industry experience. Prior to his civilian career, he served as a naval flight officer in the U.S. Navy for 8 years in various operational and managerial roles achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Mr. Makowicz earned a bachelor of science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from Villanova University.
Michael Ness is the Head of UK for CBRE Global Investors and the Managing Director of UK Separate Accounts. He leads the team responsible for the investment management of all the discretionary and advisory separate account mandates, held by CBRE Global Investors.
Mr. Ness joined CBRE in October 1997, gaining experience in the Investment Consulting department, with responsibility for investment appraisal and feasibility for pension schemes. He was recruited to join CBRE Global Investors in October 1999. Prior to this, he worked at Edward Symmons & Partners between 1995 and 1997.
Mr. Ness has worked on a number of separate account mandates since joining CBRE Global Investors gaining in excess of 16 years experience managing a wide range of property portfolios. He has built up a first class track record for building and restructuring portfolios. He now leads both the UK business and the Separate Accounts Group, this team being responsible for AUM of circa £8bn.
He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and he is a member of the Investment Property Forum. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management from University of the West of England.
Robert Perry is Head of Strategic Partners U.S. In this role he is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s enhanced return investment activity, including existing and future Strategic Partners funds. Mr. Perry is involved in capital raising, investment and operations decisions, and financing strategy. He is also Portfolio Manager for CBRE Strategic Partners U.S. Value 9. Mr. Perry joined CBRE Global Investors in 2016, and is a member of the Americas Investment Committee and Global Leadership Team.
Mr. Perry previously served as a Senior Managing Director and the leader of the North American real estate business for CarVal Investors, a global alternative investment fund manager and a subsidiary of Cargill. In that capacity, Mr. Perry was responsible for investment management and implementation for equity and debt investments, capital-raising and investor relations. He served as Chairman of the Investment Committee for North America and as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Mr. Perry also has extensive experience in real estate finance. Mr. Perry’s experience includes acquiring large international real estate debt and equity portfolios across the Americas and Asia, leading several public to private executions, as well as being involved in several initial public offerings in the U.S. and Canada.
Mr. Perry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Investment Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Gill Roantree is the Chief Operating Officer of CBRE Global Investment Partners. Based in London, Ms. Roantree’s role is to coordinate all financial matters within the CBRE GIP group, including financial and investor reporting, the structuring of funds and segregated mandates, currency hedging and fund administration, as well as conducting financial and tax due diligence on potential investments. She is a member of the CBRE GIP Executive Committee.
Ms. Roantree has over 25 years' experience in the funds industry, of which the past 13 years have been focused on real estate. She joins from Mayfair Capital, a UK property fund manager, where she was COO. Prior to that, she was with Schroders as COO of the real estate investment division based in Jersey before returning to London, which included direct real estate funds, fund of funds and real estate securities predominantly domiciled in Luxembourg, the UK and Jersey. Pieter Roozenboom is Chief Operating Officer for EMEA. Based in Amsterdam, Mr Roozenboom has overall responsibility for management of the operations in EMEA, including management of the operations in the EMEA countries and staff departments including Legal, HR and IT, Mr Roozenboom is a member of the Global Leadership Team, European Executive Committee and Chairman of the European Operating Committee.
Preceding this role, Mr. Roozenboom was appointed Head of Global Separate Accounts and EMEA Head of Separate Accounts, responsible for its strategic growth, key client relationships and the day-to-day coordination of the business line. Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors in May 2014, Mr Roozenboom worked for Uni-Invest, a private equity owned real estate investment manager. He went on to become CEO of that company from 2010 to 2013. Mr Roozenboom also worked for ING Real Estate Investment Management (“ING REIM”) having joined them in 2001. He was appointed CFO/COO for ING REIM Europe.
Mr Roozenboom has 19 years of real estate experience in an international environment in different asset categories.
Mr. Roozenboom studied at the University of Amsterdam.
Julie Terres is the Global Head of Portfolio Analytics for CBRE Global Investors. In this role she is responsible for setting the standards for all business lines for performance reporting, attribution and portfolio analytics; maintaining global performance composites; and managing our relationships with performance and benchmarking service providers. Ms. Terres provides analytical and organizational support for our investment teams in the management of CBRE Global Investors portfolios, as well as the firm’s Global Solutions and client servicing efforts. She is a member of the Global Leadership Team and Chair of the Global Analytics Oversight Committee.
Ms. Terres, who joined CBRE Clarion Securities’ predecessor firm in 2001, is a former Principal of CBRE Clarion Securities, where she was responsible for overseeing the Portfolio Analytics team.
Ms. Terres is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Scranton. She remains based in Philadelphia at CBRE Clarion Securities’ headquarters and actively co-leads the Clarion Women’s Network. She also is a member of the advisory board for the MSCI / PREA U.S. Quarterly Property Fund Index.
Ivo de Wit is a Fund Manager of the Global Alpha Fund for CBRE Global Investment Partners. Based in London, Mr. de Wit is a member of the CBRE GIP Executive Committee and he is responsible for performance and strategy.
Mr. de Wit joined CBRE Global Investors in July 2010. Prior to this Mr. de Wit worked at ING Real Estate Select as Global Portfolio Manager in London, where he was responsible for managing global non-listed real estate investment accounts for institutional clients. Before that, Mr. de Wit was part of the Global Executive Team of ING Real Estate Investment Management. He has been responsible for strategic planning, asset allocation, investment selection and performance monitoring for both listed and unlisted funds. During his more than 20-year real estate investment career, he has worked in various regions around the world focusing on business and strategic direction, executing new business opportunities and allocating seed capital. In New York, Mr. de Wit was a Vice President and Head of US Strategy for Clarion, responsible for client and fund strategies and forecasting real estate returns.
Mr. de Wit has a Ph.D. in Finance from Maastricht University and an EMBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School.

Todd Sammann joined CBRE Global Investors in 2018 as Head of Credit Strategies. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of existing and future Credit Strategies funds, including product design, capital formation, investment, dispositions and financing strategy. He also serves as Portfolio Manager for CBRE U.S. Credit Partners. Mr. Sammann is a member of the Americas Investment Committee.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Mr. Sammann was founder and Managing Principal of Narrative Capital from 2015-2018, managing a commercial real estate debt fund on behalf of institutional investors. Mr. Sammann chaired the firm’s investment committee and had overall responsibility for investment activity and portfolio management. Prior to forming Narrative, Mr. Sammann was Principal and Head of Credit Strategies at Colony Capital from 2008-2015, which invested $5 billion across a variety of credit strategies during his tenure. Previously, Mr. Sammann was Managing Director and Head of North American Large Loan Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities at Deutsche Bank from 2002-2008, where he oversaw the origination of more than $50.0 billion of structured real estate financings and served as a member of the firm’s global Group Executive Committee. Previously, Mr. Sammann served as Vice President within Goldman, Sachs & Co.’s real estate investment banking unit from 1996-2002.
Mr. Sammann earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Duke University.
