Our Americas Direct platform has approximately $18 billion in direct private real estate assets under management. The platform offers clients a comprehensive suite of real estate solutions from core to value add to opportunistic development investing.

With an investment team of more than 150 professionals based in eight locations, we follow a research-driven, cycle-aware disciplined investment philosophy. Our team has in-depth experience across all the traditional real estate sectors, including office, logistics/industrial, retail, residential, as well as experience in niche sectors like data centers and hotels. We have a track record of enhancing value through the operating strategies that measurably improve tenant satisfaction and retention.

We have more than 40 years’ experience investing in core strategies for our clients through separate accounts and commingled funds and nearly 20 years of experience investing in enhanced return strategies through commingled fund and club/joint venture investments.

Strategic Partners U.S. Strategy
Strategic Partners is our flagship U.S. enhanced returns program. In the last 18 years, we have repositioned more than $9 billion of institutional-quality properties through our series of 11 investment funds.   Our value add strategy is founded on “cycle-aware” investing which seeks to deliver relative out-performance through changing market conditions.   Our emphasis is on growing net operating income by improving under-leased and under-managed properties in select U.S. markets that we anticipate will experience above-average rent growth and total returns.   We strive to add value by implementing property-level improvements including putting in place our proprietary 5-Star Worldwide® and Inspired Lifestyle® operating models to deliver highly-desirable buildings. U.S. Debt Strategy
With an increased borrower demand for high-yielding loans, we believe debt investing offers an attractive opportunity underpinned by strong market fundamentals. Globally, we have undertaken $1 billion of debt investments since 2010.   Through funds and separate accounts, our U.S. debt platform originates and invests in whole loans secured by quality real estate in the U.S., offering investor clients strong cash yields and attractive tax-efficient returns.   We have a dedicated team of experienced originations and asset management professionals. This expertise is combined with a research-based investment strategy and conservative underwriting standards.   As part of the CBRE Group, we also leverage the CBRE Debt and Structured Finance platform and its market intelligence to support the sourcing and screening of opportunities.

U.S. Development Strategy
